I really love how theyre so humble about this masterpiece 😭. Just few hours ago i watched this movie ! Its soo cool ! I really miss that girl(from poor family. i thought she will recover but sadly no 😔😔... instead of that if boy dead ( hits by rock) that's okay. . I like how I don't understand anything from the trailer but it raised my curiosity to watch the movie. I'm in.

This Scene Gave Me More Emotion Than All Of 2019. I watched this movie around 5 days ago and i cant stop thinking about it. truly a fucking masterpiece - the pacing, the writing, the acting, the music, the hidden references - its a movie that keeps giving. Me after watching this movie: RESPECT. When they speak of the bus scene (when the bus passes in the background during the discussion) it is actually a point that stood out to me in the film as sooo perfect.

Man, where do I even begin? Let's start with the technical aspects. It is shot very well, the production design is so good that I couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't, the acting is phenomenal (especially from Joon Ho favorite Kang-Ho Song) and the score is the best of the year so far.
And now for the story. Just wow. The script tackles so many complicated themes about society and class flawlessly, and it developes all of the characters perfectly. There are about 8 main characters, and they all feel like actual people and not objects for the story. The situation that the characters get in is very interesting and thrilling. This is the best film of the year, and one of the best ever. Just watch it.

There are lots of great movies out there. This is just not one of them. Why? Because it's predictable to a degree that I have seldom experienced. All major events can be predicted way ahead of them happening, which makes watching this movie into nothing but a waiting game. It's not deep and it's definitely not clever.
If the director should ever reveal that he made this movie as an experiment to explore how hollow of a movie you can get away with and still have the world hyped, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Wow, what a story. Real relloercoaster, you get all emotions in this movie.
Korean cinematography is best by far. Hollywood needs to learn from them.

This is just one of the many, many, many, manyyyyy good korean movies. America just noticed it now but we Asians have been enjoying Korean movies ever since lol.

After watching, I see my fight against the system (life, society, Capitalism) as a fight for all of the people who still eager for a fight.

After watching the movie in the theatere, I felt kind of depressed. It's a masterpiece and I've been dreaming (and still am) about making movies like this. But here in Germany, especially as a woman being in that industry is so fucking hard. Being part of creating art like this one, is one of my biggest wishes. After exiting the theatre I just couldn't help, but feel like them, stuck where I am now, with pressure everywhere, but no support. Not being able to do what you want or to be where you want is painful.

When Park Seo Joon comes by, I was like. I know this dude. because the face wasn't clear and I'm blind af, it took me awhile. but then he screams (curses) and I was like AH YES THATS HIM ALRIGHT, MY BOI SEO JOONIE I know this is very stupid, but for me personally, I was so happy I was able to identify him through his way of acting and his voice alone.
